Rwanda Showcased its Travel and Tourism Beauty at OTM-2023

Rwanda Development Board, RwandAir, and Rwanda Private Sector in collaboration with the High Commission of Rwanda in India participated at the annual Outbound Travel Market-2023 (OTM-2023) on 02-04 February 2023, in Mumbai, India.

The team Rwanda exhibited excellent Rwandan travel & tour shows at the three-day OTM-2023 and organized a Tourism evening in the city of Mumbai to present to the tour companies the sector’s ecosystem in Rwanda. The team received the "Most Upcoming Destination Award".

OTM-Mumbai is a renowned platform that gives space to various travel and tour companies operating globally and specifically from South Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Rwanda has been associated with OTM since 2016 and has always participated actively in its shows except during the two consecutive years of COVID-19 disruptions.

OTM shows have contributed immensely to the increase of Indian travelers to Rwanda, and the numbers have continued to grow with the air linkage between Rwanda and India when Rwandan National carrier RwandAir opened in 2017 its international direct flights Kigali-Mumbai-Kigali, and the new Rwandan visa regime that allows Indians, as citizens of the Commonwealth, to obtain 30-days free visa on arrival in Rwanda.
